Thank you for your interest in becoming a member of the Mid Michigan Labrador Retriever Club! We are thrilled to see you here and excited for the opportunity to get to know you better! Please read all of this information so that you can have a better understanding of our requirements and gain information about how to become a member of MMLRC.

There are several options for membership with MMLRC. Individual, Household, Associate and Lifetime.

  • Individual Member: Adult member that can enjoy all Club privileges which includes the right to vote on Club matters and hold office.

  • Household Membership: Two adult members residing in the same household, each eligible to vote on Club matters and hold office.

  • Associate Membership: Entitled to all Club privileges except voting and holding office. This membership is ideal for those who live outside of the MMLRC region.

  • Lifetime Membership: Awarded by the Club membership by the Executive Board to individuals in good standing with the Club, who have had continuous membership for at least 25 years and have made significant, ongoing contributions to the Club. Lifetime members pay no dues but may vote and hold office.
  • Individual Membership: $50 per year
  • Household Membership: $70 per year
  • Associate Membership: $25 per year
  • Lifetime Membership: $0
  • Interested members must attend two club functions,
    • Club activities include (but are not limited to) monthly membership meetings, club sanctioned matches, annual specialty, working certificate event, or any other scheduled Club function.
  • Interested members must also be sponsored by two voting members in good standing with MMLRC.
    • We like to be invested in our new members, and that is why we take sponsorship of interested persons seriously. MMLRC has to be a fit for you and your expectations of membership, just as much as your membership should be beneficial for the longterm growth and sustainability as an organization.

    • Sponsoring members are expected to get to know you (if they do not already), what your goals in the breed are, your ethics (if you are a breeder), and what you hope to gain from and can contribute to the Club.

    • If you are not familiar with current members, we highly encourage you to introduce yourself and take the time to get to know us. Learn about the club and about all of the activities we are involved in.
